Well, that was certainly a descent into madness. I knew this would be different, but I wasn’t expecting such a surrealist, frenetic story.
I don’t really know how to summarize this or critique it. For most of the book, all I could think was WTF… which was probably the point. But because of that, anything it was saying about gender or class or academia kind of got lost in the shuffle for me.
