I am someone who does not like true crime (my day to day life is scary enough as it is) but I was at the edge of my seat enthralled throughout the entire book. Just the quality of writing and extensive history and investigative journalism shows McNamara put her all in to this. Would not recommend reading while driving from the Bay Area to Lake Tahoe as I did, freaked me out.
