Jim Henson's Labyrinth Tales by Cory Godbey

4.0

There are 3 short tales in this story:

Sir Didymus’ Grand Day
Wisdom & Idioms
Stone Cold

The artwork is amazing. We get to go back to Jim Henson’s Labyrinth from the movie and catch up with a few of the beloved characters. I do love Sir Didymus. Ludo is in the last story. The stories are short and not a whole lot to them, but I still thought it was great to go back to the labyrinth. I still love that movie. The kids are old enough I want to show it to them.

The nephew thought this was a great book. Sir Didymus was a favorite of his. He didn’t understand the bird on the old wizard’s head. Ludo at the end was funny to him. He doesn’t know what the stories reference and so he didn’t understand what was happening. You need to have seen the movie to really get what’s going on. He still liked the characters and he gave this 4 stars.
