Seduced by Sunday by Catherine Bybee

5.0

Seduced by Sunday is Book 6 in the Weekday Bride series and I still get excited when I hear there is a new one. I still search for all information on when it's coming out and I can't wait to dive in! That's the true testament to a winning series. Catherine's writing is so wonderful. It's full of humor, sass, sexiness, witty banter and friendship. I'm so glad that Meg finally got her story. And, I was so happy to see characters from the series, I miss them! Meg is working for Alliance and hears of a resort off the Keys where cameras and phones are not allowed. Giving their guests true privacy. She sets up a visit with Michael as her guest to check out if it's truly as private as they claim. Michael is very interested to know since he might have plans of his own. Val the owner of the resort and Meg exchange less than favorable emails before she is approved and when Meg meets Val he is nothing like she thought he'd be. He's tall, dark and majorly handsome. Val is instantly attracted to Meg and even though she's there with Michael he can't but help to want to get to know her better. There are some extremely funny moments (homemade pasta with Val's mom that made me miss my Grandma), amazing singing and suspense. The perfect combo for a great book. Meg and Val have intense chemistry but just when they think they can be together all hell breaks loose. Will Meg get caught in the crossfire? Will Val let her walk out of his life? I love these characters and I can't wait for more!

"How was it?" Michael asked
"Great. I mean, have you looked at the man?"
"Lots of lips, just the right amount of tongue?"
Meg squeezed her eyes shut, started to laugh. "How did you know?"
"Just a guess."

"Moral?"
"I'm a Catholic Jew. Eat the bacon! Don't eat the bacon, it's a sin. I’m already morally messed up."

I don’t do sleepovers. Yet she was wrapped around him like lips sucking a lime after a tequila shot, and he was hanging on for the ride.

"Life is too short to drink something you don't like."
