Dark Waters by Katherine Arden
5.0
Much like that lurking menace in the cover, I gobbled up this book in a span of a few hours.
I remember its predecessors being much longer so getting to the last page was such a surprise, I couldn't believe how short it seemed.
Then again, all books are short if you love them as much as I love Small Spaces.
The fourth book can't come fast enough.
Plus the focus on different seasons? That's an aesthetic bonus I LOVE LOVE LOVE.
I'm just so attached to these kids, you'll feel like you're one yourself when you're between this book's pages.
You might as well cover the mirrors tonight while you're at it, too.
