The Fellowship of the Ring by J.R.R. Tolkien

Did not finish book. Stopped at 0%.

So boring. But...validating because of my conflicting emotions and reviews of many other books, including ones I liked but didn't think the writing was that good, or that I acknowledged were great stories and the writing styles had me struggling to get through. LOTR is obviously a great story and well-crafted tale, but I couldn't handle the writing style - at least via audiobook. (I should note - Andy Serkis' narration is INCREDIBLE, so the performance is not at all the issue.) Will lean on the movies for the story instead or try actually reading another time.
