Friend-Ish: Reclaiming Real Friendship in a Culture of Confusion by Kelly Needham

3.0

The last few chapters of this book felt wise and applicable. And some of the truths and wake up calls were convicting as we read along. However, I felt we (read with a small group from church) had to really push through half the book to get there. Some of the advice in the beginning felt extreme, or like personal convictions that sometimes contradicted what she would later say about the Lord's design for friendship. I'm still thankful to have read it but am glad I read it with others to process along the way.
