Tales from a Not-So-Talented Pop Star, by Rachel Renée Russell

2.0

I feel like the drawing style really peaked with the second novel but it dipped in this novel for some reason. Still, the plot and storyline does a good job of creating a ton of interesting and juicy drama. I find this series to be like an episode of Keeping up with The Kardashians. You know it's fluff, fake and really cringy at times but for some reason, you can't really look away because you want to know what happens next. I usually just read this when I want to switch my brain off or immerse myself into the headspace of my middle school self who was constantly chasing popularity and fame. Man, I sure am glad that girl isn't in my head all the time anymore.
