A Court of Wings and Ruin by Sarah J. Maas

5.0

This is going to be a 5 ✨ review, because I just ignored every rating rule ever to exist and I’m rating ACOMAF 6✨.

This book left me speechless.
I must admit that I was enjoying the first two-thirds of it, because Sarah J. Maas knows to make us interested and curious at every step of the way.

But I felt something was missing... And that something made a surprise appearance in that final third of the book that’s for sure. I cried several times, the emotional connection I have and feel to the characters is inexplicable. Seeing how all the so called monsters where not the real evil in the world. To the Suriel. The Carver. The Weaver.

There were losses that hurted, but each goodbye was painfully beautiful and freeing. What a book, yet another one, that transported me to a world that doesn't exist in the real world, but always will in our hearts ♥

"To a new world. One I would leave a better place than how I’d found it".

❓ I promise to do the same in my own world. We all should. Isn’t this so similar to what we have been experiencing all over the world?
