This book strongly reminded my of SJM’s a court of frost and starlight. And that’s really not a compliment, as that was a six hour book about characters buying Christmas presents. And somehow, that was a better book than this one because at least they were done with saving the world at the time.

So in this book we follow Warner, who is really upset with every other character because they don’t agree that the world should revolve around him. He thinks everybody should drop whatever they are doing and help him get married because, you see, he don’t care about anyone else in the world except himself and Juliette. Who cares if people are starving? He needs all hand on deck to sow a weeding dress for his “love”. He demonstrates how important this is to him by being mean and degrading to everyone he meets, and shutting down all their efforts to be kind to him or to compromise. And this Juliette sees as Warner being to kind to everyone and they are bullying him because omg it’s so hard for him to feel everyone’s horny feelings for him all the time so he’s justified in being an asshole.

Also this book was written purely because people wanted to read about their weeding. Which started just as the book ended. So… what’s the point?
