I’m waffling between giving this book 3 or 4 stars. The world building is difficult to follow, especially since the author introduces terms and doesn’t explain them until much later. Also, this book could benefit very much from a damn map.
The story, though! I thought the story was great, the political intrigue especially. It took me a minute to warm up to every character except the three Body-Maids, but once I was invested, I was INVESTED.
