4.5 stars. After a month long slump, this was exactly what I needed! The use of an AI character is so fresh that it made the book stand out. Absolutely loved Lock's character, glad we got some 'personality' out of an AI, he was really fun to read!
The writing was brilliant, especially for a debut and the use of the authors own experiences with cancer made the writing of those themes very fleshed out. Literslly read it cover to cover in one sitting and will be reading the next one immediately.
