Every Day by David Levithan

This type of book is tricky. It's easy to hate and easy to love. Luckily, I loved this. All of these deep subtexts were actually meaningful unlike some (cough The Fault in Our Stars cough). This book really opened my eyes to all of the meaningless things our eyes glance off of every day and all of the things that we take for granted. Not just that though. It really lets me see how everyone is flawed. Also, it shows how the outside will always matter. It's the inside and outside that counts. <3 This book made me see so many things I didn't before. INCREDIBLE.
