Red Is for Remembrance by Laurie Faria Stolarz

3.0

I actually removed a star from my original review. Perhaps because when I first read these books in 2007, I didn't know about the toxicity that Wicca can have. The book was decent, but as soon as she started trashing Sage for "not knowing anything about Wicca" I got turned off to it. Wicca is just a huge rip off of many other magic practicing cultures and religions, so the holier than thou-ness is icky.
Other than that, I felt that the ending of the book- the epilogue- was rushed. There was vague closure in the form of a couple of sentences. No wonder I always thought the series was never finished. It feels like there's unfinished business, imo.
