When Bianca Piper’s home life takes a turn for the worst, she goes looking for distraction anywhere she can find it. And if that means sleeping with the enemy, well, she’ll do whatever it takes.
If the description doesn’t give it away, there’s a bit of spiciness in this book, and a mildly offensive and negative inner voice that could be off-putting for some readers. This book strikes an impressive balance between fluffy and heavy topics, and is a good escapist read, despite the unapologetic heaviness and insecurities that drive the plot forward. This is a pretty focused story, though - outside of the various intersecting relationship dramas, the world is somewhat one-dimensional. Definitely one of those novels that’s always good for a re-read!
