Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, Vol. 18, by Koyoharu Gotouge

5.0

Have you ever had so much blood lust and towards an antagonist that you want nothing but their utter annihilation? That no past pain or sob story could ever make you feel anything but contempt for them? I felt that for Akaza for so long and now Gotouge ruined it with his amazing storytelling and powerful connections to family and loved ones.

This is a comment about the series as a whole. I love the chapter break pages where Gotouge shares tidbits and funny things the characters are doing, saying, thinking or feeling. I love that even though the author couldn't squeeze in all his ideas and thoughts about his world and characters, he still felt them so important that he had to share them with us.
