Temptation by Robin Covington is the first book in the Nashville Nights series. Kit is a star in the music world, but has to repair her reputation after spending time in rehab. Max saves her from a fire and would be the perfect distraction for her, but she has to work for her career and a distraction is forbidden. Both have secrets to keep, but their chemistry is strong.

This is again one of those books I've had on my kindle for ages. I am always unsure when I read a book a bought years ago, because I have different taste in books nowadays. But this one was not bad. The chemistry between Max and Kit was amazing! They respected each other and each other's boundaries (at least most of the times). And the book had many steamy scenes, and they were well written. They really were pretty good. The plot itself was well done too. Kit is not the typical music star. She is aware of the dangers and will do anything to help the people around her. She is really strong. Max is okay too. He adores Kit. I found it a bit strange that i first really wanted to have sex with her, because he was a fan of her. That made me question their relationship at the beginning, because I found it quite weird. But he is a good guy.

The relationship had some ups and downs, and most could have been avoided if both had communicated well with each other. Such "breakups" always annoy me a bit. Because they usually have a very stupid reason or they just get cold feet. And we had it twice in this book. Other than that, their relationship was good.

The book was good. I enjoyed the story and the characters.
