This is a nice supplementary collection to the Lunar Chronicles. While you don't need any of these to enjoy the fullness of the stories told in the Chronicles, these add some nice glimpses into how different relationships evolved and how and why certain characters ended up where they did when we first encountered them. Some of the best aspects actually focused on characters who weren't in the spotlight in the main series, but whose being and actions influenced the others, like Michelle Benoit. The final story in the collection is actually an epilogue, providing a fun way to revisit our beloved characters, which is a nice touch. There is also one story, The Little Android, that breaks completely free from being "clips" of the main story, and draws from The Little Mermaid (and the book summary up top isn't kidding when it says it drew from the Hans Christian Anderson version)! A quick, enjoyable read for fans of the series.
