And that's how he treated each obstacle in his way. With diligence and ingenuity, Morgan solves the problems before him: how to help his sharecropper parents, how to fix the sewing machines at the factory he helps clean, how to help firefighters breathe while rescuing people from fires. Garrett Morgan, as a person, is a fascinating subject.
