Very disappointing.  Unfortunately the poor plotting, lack of character development and multiple plot holes are matched by uninspiring characters and pedestrian writing.

Spoiler Content Warning: there are also 2 very young girls (13 & 16) who, and the end of the book are having sexual relationships with much older men. It's stated explicitly that as the younger one has had her 13th birthday there's no reason to interfere
