I listened to the audiobook and unfortunately the narrator did not do a good job of making some moments as impactful as they should've been. The same voice used throughout also made it hard to tell who was talking at first in big dialogue scenes and hard to tell what was thought internally vs externally at times. I know it was read by the author but hiring a more experienced narrator would have made this audiobook much better and probably gotten me more into the story and world as a whole. The concept of the story was great tho!
