Angels Flight, by Michael Connelly

5.0

Hits all the buttons I look for in a detective mystery. GREAT MC--Bosch is hard to beat. Intricate plot. Good commentary about the social and political climate of the time the book was written. Worthy subplots that aren't just tossed in but have an effect on the characters--especially Bosch and his troubled marriage to Eleanor Wish. Well-crafted and devised red herrings. Good plot twists that make sense and are believable. Smoothly integrated backstory.

One of the better Connelly books featuring Harry Bosch that I've read (roughly half of them to date). You gotta read this one if you're a Connelly/Bosch fan.
