I decided to give this a listen because 1. it was free on Audible 2. I generally enjoy Zoe Foster Blake and 3. It is a really short story.
I did not like this at all... The level of anxiety that this kept me from start to finish was not enjoyable. Since the story is so short, we are basically in the middle of their fight for 99% of the time with no respite.
I am not against the topics or exploring relationships and what caused their fight, I am just against it being so short because it missed out on having some "down" time in between the raised tension and conflict.
Not for me.
