This is a wonderfully paced spaceship horror novella. It's not reinventing hostile aliens in a spaceship but it's a story that gallops at a clip that propells the experience. Also, the motives of the plot that unfurl near the end are so deliciously bleak.

I would like to read whatever Ness Brown does next.
