I loved this book so much. Evocative, poetic and tender. I loved reading about a cultural Australian experience so different from my own, the experience of growing up queer as a Muslim Australian and the impact that familial trauma has on a family through generation. It reminded me of Ocean Vuong's work. Very impressive for a debut and can't wait to read more from this author.
