I almost didn’t finish this book and I wouldn’t recommend reading it. I put it on my to read list years ago and MAYBE I would have liked it better if I was younger. It was overfilled with too many pop culture references and throws too many plot points at you. It’s like this book couldn’t decide what it wanted to be about so it just scratches the surface of every topic. Nothing really happens in this book and it just kind of ends without anything resolving. I didn’t care about any of the characters either. It was almost like reading a really really bad episode of Glee, especially when it got to the chapter about the dance.
