Fonda Lee wrote a review that stated that she wasn’t prepared and neither are you and oh my gosh she is correct. About halfway through the book, I actually thought it would make more sense for this book to be first in the series but now I’m not sure.

Either way, this book depicted corruption and politics and what it sometime feels like to be a layperson in an overly complicated society. Definitely recommend reading the author’s note/acknowledgements for more insight.
