David Bowie Is... by Geoffrey Marsh, John Savage, Victoria Broackes, Howard Goodall, Christopher Frayling, Camille Paglia

3.0

This book was created by the curators of the David Bowie Is exhibit at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London. I expected it to be mostly a coffee table book with lots of pictures, but it was packed with information and critical analysis of how important David Bowie's work has been to the music industry and to society at large. To be honest, a lot of the cultural analysis and references to other genres and movements went over my head. But as a fan, I still enjoyed familiarizing myself with his entire body of work and his artistic journey.
