I am so, so sorry to have finished the last installment of this series. I've taken 4 years to read it and loved every moment, including the anticipation of the next and will be very sad not to have it to look forward to anymore. I will read her others, but always keep a special place in my heart for Alexia.
Steam punk in general is so fun, but when you add the supernatural elements Carriger gives us, the fun is magnified. This, the final “chapter”, was satisfying, but I was left wanting more. That want was more powerful because I don’t see any reason Carriger couldn't just continue the series. No matter where she lives Alexia will be amusing and entertaining. Heck, I’d be happy to read 20 more installments about Prudence! Not to mention the fact that if this series is really over we will never know what Prudence prefers to be called. Wait! Maybe Carriger is planning a series about her.
Or Biffy! A whole series devoted to his time as Pack Master. I wonder if she has given any thought to that idea? Hmmm...maybe we should talk to her. :)
