We Wish You a Murderous Christmas by Vicki Delany

Strong and delightful cozy murder mystery. Ms. Delany quickly creates an evil and hateful villain that everyone wanted to kill...including me! The murder happens fairly soon in the book and we spend the majority of the time with Merry figuring out the who and why. The various characters were a delight to get to know and the plot/story had a nice, even pace. You find yourself going back and forth on who the killer is...so many good plot points.
Although I figured out who the killer was (they said something that gave it away...whether Ms. Delany meant to give us the hint, I'm not sure) it was still a fun, easy read. I look forward to reading more about Merry and the year-round Christmas mysteries.
