Very Sweet, Pining, not too slow of a burn
Travis is a wonderful book boyfriend, so strong and dependable, sweet and shy.
Layne is strong and capable but has a softness and neediness that is rare in heroines. I found it super sweet.
The post-apocalyptic world is brutal, but our couple handles it like pros. Only occasionally getting so distracted by each other, they walk straight into danger.
I wish we got some chapters from his perspective. Especially since he falls first!! We only get hints of him pining for us.
Finally, I wish there was more dialogue between the two of them. They are a quiet couple, I totally get that. But we didn't get to see as much of the pining and banter as I would like.
