Rebel Spring: A Falling Kingdoms Novel by Morgan Rhodes

4.0

"It was an important reminder that this was all lies. A thin layer of snow that would soon melt to reveal the ugliness that lay beneath its beauty."

Oh my God this was even better than the first book!
For a start, I'm beginning to like the characters much more, imperfections and all. There was still some stupidity here and there, yes I'm looking at you Jonas and Lucia, but I didn't really mind it like before; it kinda seemed well in place. Some relationships were still weird or out of place, but I learned to roll my eyes and look away.
And oh my God all these plot twists got my head spinning! This book is so full of surprises in each page and you won't even see them coming. You can also see some tiny bit of character development in a couple of characters. Now I'm really glad I get to see all that development from the very start.

This series looks like it'll keep getting better and better, and I can't help but get addicted to it.
