Oh my goodness I loved this book! I had heard it was good but no one warned me it was going to make me emotional! Reading this made me miss my grandma so darn much and it was so sweet to read about their relationship. I loved the long lost relationship aspect and the journey to finding more answers. The roadtrip was amazing and so special. Ugh, this just has so many good elements. Emotional stories, finding yourself, found family, good romance, a bit of steam (really delicious steam) and good family moments as well. The writing was fab and I truly couldn’t put this down! Already looking forward to Joyce’s new book for 2024.
