She's filthy; she's sex-crazed; she's spent 15 years behind bars for robbing banks and she gets out to rob more banks and find her daughter. Except her entrepreneurial daughter seeks to escape her shadow while she seeks to bed her choice of men. What can possibly go wrong? Perdy is filthy. But it also muses on the condition of strong-willed women in the Wild-West. Is it an indictment or a celebration? Only the reader can decide. I walked away a fan of its light-heartedness though of course the PC Brigade lambasts it for its perceived vulgarity.
