This series just does not let up. In book 4, the author does a good job of starting to flesh out some of the side characters, and it adds tremendously to the book's appeal. What I really appreciate, is that Rilla's origins are revealed, but there is still a sense of mystery about what she is. And, while I never thought it could happen, I find myself firmly ensconced in Team Blackbeard. I can't wait for book 5.
