Artificial Condition by Martha Wells

5.0

This is a case of book 2 being better than book 1.
There is so much world building in this book.

The book one enchants us by the idea that a bot/construct who watches soap operas in free time.
But this book blew me away by the idea that even the bots that drive vehicles are capable of watching soap operas and soap operas are being used as a currency in a way!
Imagine a self driving car watching soap operas! How weird is that?!

Anyways, loved the world building. Loved ART. Loved how even after being a free agent, Murderbot is the same as it was in book 1. At least in the ways it matters.
