This was such an amazing end to a spectacular trilogy! Alli Temple really brings it all - adventure, romance, danger, espionage, politics….the series is a wild ride and Unleashed really brings it home strong.

My favorite part: the dual POV. From Uncharted being strictly George’s POV, to Unbroken being Lou’s, having Unleashed be shared was all I ever wanted. We get to see not only their individual character growth (which was INCREDIBLY significant), but also their growth as a pair. A lot happens to these badass women over 3 books and Alli Temple does an amazing job of peppering in backstory and giving us consistent character development that felt appropriate to the circumstances - no sudden changes in character or regressions once a lesson was learned. Their final forms were earned and perfect.

I also really enjoyed getting to see them on land AND back in Redmere - both drastically different settings from books 1 and 2. This ties into my notes about character development, but it also showcases parts of their personalities we hadn’t seen yet and really explored a very different kind of tyranny than those they destroyed previously. While Prince Beverly and The Brokers ruled by wealth, power, and fear, Duke Aubrey ruled by manipulation - it was a super cool dynamic and villain to explore and see how our BAFMCs reacted.

And the epilogue…..no spoilers but probably my favorite part of the series.

Overall, this was the perfect ending to a series I already adored. I highly recommend this to pretty much all (adult) readers, check it out!
