Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger

Though nothing grand really happens, and as boring as it may seem to others, I admittedly was still fascinated reading through this book.

It's composed of mundane conversations between the characters. I was reeled in. Maybe because the writing is not something I usually encounter. And discussing spiritual views and beliefs is not that common to see in fictional literature for me either.
