Forever After All by Catharina Maura
3.0
This book is 356 pages and both of the main characters are completely indeterminate about relationship (despite already being married via an agreement) until about page 320. Yes, they love each other but they just keep going back and forth with each other and it is infuriating. They each keep pushing the other away in between bouts of happiness.
Alexander is a jerk for most of the book with moments of sweetness and tenderness in between. When he finally succumbs to his feelings he is 100% better but it takes a looooong time to get there. He does, however, have a very dirty mouth and is not afraid to deliver sexual favors. Luckily for Alexander, the favors are reciprocated enthusiastically.
While I did enjoy this book overall, the fact that I was annoyed for 90% of it forces me to only give it 3 stars.
