Tidal Wave by E.M. Lindsey

4.0

I have read the majority of E.M.'s books and this was such a change up with the MC! I was curious after reading their teasers how this book would compare to their typical writing style of slow burn, angsty happily ever afters and it did not disappoint!

Almost 5 years ago, Gunner ran from his "family" and the club life he grew up in. He made an unforgivable choice to involve the law in club business so he could save his baby sister. Unfortunately the past has finally come knocking on his door; threatening everything he has built, to raise his baby sister and to fall in the love with the civvie he believes he can never have.

Logan is finally out on his own. He has his own place, his job and errands he runs for the local MC. Since he decided to run the first errand from the President of the MC, he knows he needs the money enough that he keeps running small tasks. Logan knows that he needs to stay on the edge of only running errands and not getting involved in the MC life. Best laid plans never seem to go as expected though...On a drive home from work, he is run off the road and has no other option other to call the Prez for help. Sending his second in command, it sets off a chain of thoughts and feelings between two men that is as strong as a tidal wave.

I highly recommend this! E.M. delivered the happily ever after with the slow burn angst many of their fans have become accustom to, but gave us their spin on the MC life where everyone who needs a true brotherhood is accepted. Where the lines between bad actions and bad people get drawn.
