Solomon's Jar by Victor Milán, Alex Archer

I am a sucker for "archaeological" fiction, and that is why picked this one up at King Soopers on a grocery trip once. However, as expected, it wasn't that good. It had potential, but the story just never developed. The main character just seemed to go to place to place with no rhyme or reason, and very often learned very little of the "mystery" she was trying to solve. She appeared to just bumble into everything--trouble, people, and the solution. And, apparently, she has long, tanned, legs--the author told that to me a lot.
