Warm Bodies by Isaac Marion

5.0

I'm writing this review way before finishing this book. I've seen this movie, around a year ago. The movie is crap compared to this book. I swear. The movie was cute, okay, zombie doesn't behave like a total zombie, saves girl, takes her home, follows her, a bunch of skeletons are scary and they yell a lot. This book however is amazing. The wording, first, is DELICIOUS. Just read the first 50 pages and you'll be sure of just how amazing Marion has thought of those sentences, those paragraphs. The main character R is charming because he's picky about his food and such a snob (rofl). What I loved in the book that I didn't even know was going on in the movie was how R tapped into Perry's memories. I always thought Perry was a meh character but after reading of his own gradual death, I felt sympathy for Perry. I felt deep love for Julie too, because in the movie I just presumed she was tough because she was raised that way but in the book, Julie is a delicate armored flower. With her shiny blond hair and her hope. Ugh, I want to eat her. (laughs at myself)

This book is my first, one and only Zombie book, and I think it's going to be a favorite. Sigh, I'm gonna have so much trouble looking for the other books in Marion's Warm Bodies series.

(i finished the book, ugh i need more!!! mARION GET TO WRITING...i'm just kidding please take your time and produce the thing you want to make <33333)
