The whole premise of this book is just purely dumb. I gained no additional insight after reading this book and it didn’t affect me on any way. Why one day in November? There were just so many coincidences and the whole book just felt too predictable. Not to mention the lack of diversity in all CoHo books. Also can I mention they’ve literally made blue know each other for like 3 days. I literally hated the characters in this book they were toxic and did not treat the main character the way she deserved e specially the dad and how she was redeemed in the main character’s eyes at the end of the story. What he did was not okay and the way he treated his daughter made me sick. By the end the daughter glosses over all his mistakes and ok being around him all the time. The reason was explained in just one sentence and wasn’t given much thought. Lastly, CoHo’s writing was decent and felt quite readable and quick to read.
Moderate: Body shaming, Suicide, Medical content, and Death of parent
Minor: Cancer and Vomit
