An interesting story that delves into some of the previous hints from the Stormlight Archives in a fun way. It has a well chosen pair of main characters, one engaging and the other funny and familiar, with a supporting cast that deepen the story. Chiri-Chiri is also great for immersion in the world due to the distinctive creature designs.
Personally, I think that the shorter story and faster pace lessen some of the emotional weight of other instalments, but I still find Rysn’s character arc fulfilling, and the handling of her disability worthwhile. Plus the focus on a less warlike mentality with a merchant works nicely for this story.
