“I was awesome wrapped in awesome smothered in more awesome.”

An Advance Reader’s Copy (ARC) of Untamed was provided by Netgalley and Forever (Grand Central Publishing) in exchange of an honest review.

I never thought I’ll be annoyed with Griffin Hancock this much. I mean, I loved him during the 1st three books of Thoughtless that’s why I’ve been disappointed on how annoying he became in this book, considering the fact that it was his Point of View. And I was annoyed of Matt, too.

Griffin Hancock had been a jerk in this book. Yes, he became a jerk. An arrogant, selfish, mean, and so full of himself kind of jerk that irks the hell out of me. Their band, D-BAGS has the spotlight in the music industry, they’re helluva successful band but Griffin want a spotlight of his own, he want to be THE ROCK STAR. He wanted to take the lead. His band members, however, didn’t like his idea and won’t allow him to do so. He felt being left behind, or he felt was if they were keeping him in the shadows, he therefore made some drastic decisions, and I meant, drastic, really stupid decisions. He also keeps on lying, I mean, “Man, he’s your wife, you should tell her everything because you are a TEAM!” His decisions obviously affected his relationship with his family and his friends.

It was indeed a smack of reality for Griffin. It was like the hurtful things as well as the fruit of your drastic actions are being rubbed in your face. It was like the happy world you once created crashed down infront of you.

I love how S.C. Stephens wrote his point of view, the same Griffin well, most of the time, yea, and readers can still picture the same old Griffin that we learned to love in the 1st three books of thoughtless as well as Anna. I love how her character developed in this book and I love her even more, and Gibson. <3 Griffin however needs some growing up to do. Nonetheless, he was able to redeem himself and that’s the best thing happened.

This book is irritating but definitely heartwarming at the same time. It was a roller coaster of emotions, you’ll be irritated like hell and you’ll find yourself laughing, getting angry and tearing up because of heartwarming friends/family scenes. I was annoyed but I really enjoyed the book. It was… awesome. HAHAHA!

I’m happy and content on how the book ended but I still want MORE of KELLAN and KIERA, I miss them so much and the rest of the D-Bags, too.
