Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
5.0
Poignant, Moving Story
I had heard a lot about this book before reading it and had watched the movie years ago ~ not making the connection until years later. This book is not an uplifting read, but the story remains quietly with you during and after you complete it.
Ishiguro writes beautifully and his characters have a strong sense of purpose and build up. I enjoyed this bit of sadness and was struck by the touching words and phrases, insightful understanding of the human heart, and character developments that showcases the author's brilliant and touching writing style. I felt privileged to read Kathy's story.
