I ended up switching from reading the physical book to the audiobook because I was feeling slumpy, but overall this was a good YA fantasy! I thought Soren was a marvelous character, and I loved seeing Theo become a little more anti-hero throughout the story. I wasn’t positive I’d read the sequel, but the ending definitely made me want to read on!
