Try the New Candy by Aron Beauregard

5.0

Try the New Candy took a whole new meaning. In true Beauregard fashion, he writes the gritty underbelly of human nature. The deprave, not too far off of reality that is horror.

I try not to place spoilers, or give much away, in my reviews. So let’s glaze over a few of the shorties in this book.

Vending machine becomes filled with a new Candy, abused woman gets stranded after a fight with her abuser only to find herself in more danger, curiosity leads to a new display in a New Orleans’ museum. Just to highlight a few that really stuck with me.

Beauregard is just amazing at spinning these stories and has quickly become a must-read-everything he publishes author for me. Splatterpunk will never be the same.
