Class Act by Jerry Craft

3.0

This book is a solid addition to the series, but it's not as good as the first one. The story is much less linear. It kind of goes all over the place. Drew is an interesting main character, but he's not quite as interesting as Jordan, the main character from the other book. I will say that this book touches on a lot of issues very well and I think it definitely benefits from the fact that it's a book about black children written by a black author. In other words, it's clear that he knows what he's talking about. So, overall, it's a good book, just not as good as the first one.
