The characters were likable, though not overly compelling. The writing style was very clear but unnecessarily wordy and descriptive at times, and there are a few times where the POV switches characters mid-chapter that made it difficult to follow. It’s a pretty low-stakes story which made the slow pacing in the beginning hard to get through, but overall it was very sweet and has potential.
